I really liked the game, I was very immersed in Claire's conversation with the protagonist. Anyway, I wish there was more,if had some parts where you walk outside to visit Claire apartment, or making tasks, I think it would be even more fun. Good job, Jade
Really immersive game and loved the various different endings that came with them. This didn't even feel purely like a horror game because of how much charm there was with the atmosphere. Was still a lovely visual novel, and is a good entry for those who are scaredy but trying to get into the horror gaming genre. However, I do take slight issue with the option selection. I feel clicking with your mouse on the option should also work, but other than that and the grammar issues, I have no complaints!
Thank you for playing and the feedback, iqueenkay! sorry for the choices' issue. I'll keep it as a lesson for managing cursor in the future game ( or maybe a future patch! ).
it was a good game in my opinion, I liked the breaking of the fourth wall along with the continuation of the story, the characters, the development, the gameplay, a good game, the only problem is the dialogue part, because it is something like "just press W" and "read" then it ends up getting a little tedious, I think it could have a little gameplay or tasks in the part of the dialogue with Claire, but I really like it a lot, too bad that in the mirror our character did not appear at the ending "the snow is white", but ok :>
Thank you for giving the game a chance to play, Ezkiiz! Mirror used to have Protag's reflection in it. But due to some technicality I have to pull it out from the build. But I agree, It would added so much to the 'last' cycle if I have it.
ok so i always wanted to know how to make a game or something well i hope your games keep getting better even more and you have more programming skills :>
The game may be too short to be a satisfying experience on its own, but I love all the elements that you've put there.
Having an interactive 3d environment, no matter how simple, provides that much-needed bit of immersion that a visual novel usually lacks. The girls are cute, the romance undertones are appreciated, and the time loops and meta-narratives are always fun things to play with.
You nailed the visuals, too - atmospheric, but simple enough to not be too much work for you.
I hope that you have some plans and ideas for the next, bigger game. If you do, bring Noir back. She's precious.
Ah, and thank you for having a linux version.
Glad to hear you enjoy the game, dicranella! I actually started this project with environment and atmosphere first. With a few wild experiments the red snow was one of the thing that stick with the project. Noir was added in at first just for fun and internal joke with my friend. Looking back now without her I don't think I can come up with any better idea for the ending :D. Thank you for playing and love for Noir!
This is really a very good game smoothness in cutscenes is excellent, at the level of some 3-A, but I will put 9.5 out of 10 because there is no mouse sensitivity adjustment (I can take off into the sky if I want), keep making games.
Thank you very much for playing the game;) about the configuration issue. I will improve it in the next project. (I, too can’t play any fps game with no option to turn off head-bobbing!)
I really liked playing through this short horror tale. Intrigued with the conversations between JC and Claire with their hobbies/profession. The grammar throughout the game requires tweaking here and there, but there's nothing I have encountered that causes the game to shut down. Thank you for making The Snow is Red JADE! :)
Thank you for your Efforts making this wonderful play-through video, FlareBlitzed! I'm glad that in general you're enjoying the game. Your video has gave me a lot of idea how to build upon the current version. Now that I'm finished the 'Post-jam' version I encourage you to revisit The Snow is Red again in its completed form. Cheers :)
i really recommend it for horror and plot twist fans when it come to school i'm a nerd but if its about plot twists i'm a nut head i give it 9,5/10 ... soo would you like to explain the end mr dev?
Thank you for your Rating and your time for playing the game!
To give it with out spoilers. The plot over all is about the circle that continued over and over on one person's life. The choice to break it maybe obvious, maybe it's just an illusion, maybe it doesn't matter at all.

Extremely comfy game, loved claire
Glad you enjoy and feels comfy ;)
Claire would be happy to know.
Unfortunately, the game can't be opened on Apple Silicon M1 using MacOS Ventura :(
sorry to hear that, I don’t have a mac myself. But I will look into it on the next update.
I re-uploaded mac version for both silicon and intel. Should working properly now. Sorry for the issue you found.
And thank you for reporting!
